Description
As I began to work on my snow/frozen series again, I started this painting as a backdrop for a snowstorm. But, as I finished the sky and started on the background trees, I knew that it needed to be all about the moonlight, and so I closed my eyes and remembered. It flowed out of my brush and transported me. This is definitely a case of letting the painting go where it wanted to go.
